The first stage of the ASSESS approach is to analyse the job role and to define the skills, abilities and personality characteristics required for the role. Often job descriptions and person specifications have already been written and this helps us to understand the requirements more quickly.
Organisations may use their own competency frameworks allowing us to design the assessment centre to assess candidates against these competencies. Alternatively we can use our own generic competency model (below) linked to your job roles.
A good understanding of the organisation and its job roles enables us to select the most appropriate exercises for the assessment centre.
