The Change Style Indicator (CSI) is a leadership assessment designed to measure an individual’s preferred style in approaching and addressing change.
It provides leaders of all levels with insights on personal preferences for managing through change and provides context for how those around them might perceive them and respond to their preferred style. This self-scoring assessment assesses participant’s Change Style by asking them to rate how much they agree with 20 items, which are presented in pairs.
The Change Styles
Respondents will be placed on a 120-point continuum between “Conserver” and “Originator” change styles, with “Pragmatist” in between.
Conservers: Prefer gradual, structured change.
Pragmatists: Prefer to explore the current situation in an objective manner and make logical changes.
Originators: Prefer a faster and more radical approach to change.
To become a qualified user of the Change Style Indicator, Psysoft offer a blended certification which can be completed remotely in three steps:
The Change Navigator (CN) focuses on the emotions of individuals as they navigate change and the stages of transition. Based on 60 years of research into change transitions, the assessment measures where individuals fall in the four stages of transition for a specific change event and explores how they can move through these stages.
Change Navigator is a process including an assessment and a workbook which is designed to be used in the following contexts:
One-on-one in a coaching context
With a team that is experiencing change
In a classroom-based change management workshop.
Qualification in the Change Navigator (CN) is included in the certification programme for the Change Style Indicator (CSI).
